An old barn on Christian Flake Lorenz's property in Liebenwalde, about 25 miles from Berlin, was set on fire last weekend. Half of the barn got burnt-out before firefighters could intervene and save both Flake's classic cars from destruction.
The police managed to identify and catch the suspected arsonist, a 28-year-old male with a criminal record, after he had a car crash near Flake's property. The suspect was also a thief since the police also discovered stolen studio gear at the arsonist's.
Flake was not at home then as he is out on tour with the band. Let's just hope that the news do not spoil his 45th birthday today!
