For a while i thought this was Vocal Pad because the two, when put through effects sounds veeery similar. Yes! I also tried with Vocal Pad 1 and Metal Voices, they sound almost the same, but to me, it's Classic Pad.

I would say that it is from a floppy disc.

Fleischgewehr 47
hi there! we still have not solved the sequencer (settings) used live for ARMEE DER TRISTEN intro. its much more stabby in sound, also it has distortion and it is at least two patches combined, to my ears. while it is the same pattern as with the ANA 2 sequencer, how to get this particular stabby synth sound? i tried and tried. turns out, while working on some other stuff, good old omnisphere 2s MAINFRAME BASS comes very close in sound, almost identical if you leave the modwheel about halfway. https://vocaroo.com/12zvWl6UXWHf also, the BEAUTIFUL DREAD LEAD is clearly layered with something else, live, because it has a much higher flutelike sound to it. any idea? just layered 2 octaves higher? Gary Hoche 4
Hello, i did that months ago for my band. We were supposed to play adieu live (thats why there is others sounds that i added myself to give more atmosphere to the song) but i show you that for the intro crash sound that i've re-created with omnisphere. What do you think of it ?

Early live versions are a Organ/Chiff lead/Bottle whistle mix Later versions (Live aus Berlin) should be a synth lead (Nord Lead?) By the way: I recently heard a Ensoniq ASR-10 demo track and the distorted electric guitar sounded 1:1 like the AzA live intro. So it should be a guitar sample with Ensoniq distortion from the usual library disks...
