Hi there, good awesome news! Watched some horror movies during Easter holidays and just made a pretty funny and amazing discovery! Flake took samples out of the famous horror film cl

I think that the CLASSIC PAD from Waveboy Effects is used on Bück Dich.

I also think that the DX-16 PLUS from the Waveboy Effects fits on the Zick Zack solo.

And, the D20 Sine of Access Virus A is used in the ending of Zerstören.

I don't have any of this synths so I can't send an audio file, so sorry.

MERRY CHRISTMAS, GUYS!!!!

now, lets talk about STRIPPED. we still have not found the flangered stabbing sequencer. today i fucked about with my guitar in LIVE11 and suddenly while using a heavy gate, i thought, wtf, what if that flangered synth pattern in STRIPPED is actually their guitars? i made the sequenced gate pattern similar to the one in the track and used an envelope filter on it, ET VOILA....

was that possible to do in the studio back in 1998?

Yes, i use a sample guitar from Datafile 1 (same as WIDBFS) in my video

and since its a very short sequence that repeats itself quickly, i guess, either they took a MIDI guitar sound, or they both recorded their guitars and had it edited this way. cool.

EDIT: soooooooo and because i just saw, that this one BENZIN sample was never definitely disclosed, the "HEY!!!!" sample is definitely taken from and made originally by the avant-garde band ART OF NOISE, so, no need to look for that on any sampler or synth..... wiki says specifically:

Quote

The short spoken-word vocal and the "Hey!" sample – used in a number of songs most notably in "Firestarter" by the Prodigy and "Back in the Day" by Christina Aguilera (uncredited) – was the voice of Camilla Pilkington-Smyth.[2]

which is exactly the weird looking young girl in the video to CLOSE TO THE EDIT.

Guys I think i found the original laichzeit orchestral hit from the AKAI S3000XL

Preset HIT-04

It's actually very identical! Great found! But that sound is also very similar to the OKE HIT of the Syntec Wall of Sounds Volume 1, so it's a bit difficult to tell which one is the original.

The AKAI S3000 was released in 1996. But the original orch hit is from a Fairlight and was sampled on Zero-G Datafile and Wall of Sound (two CDs which Flake used)

The Preset "Chime Pad 1" on Absynth 5 is used in the intro of Los on the Live at Bercy 2005.

Edit: And, as far I remember, they also used in Portugal, so maybe they used it in other countries.
